The People Behind SOFI

SOFI Società Fiorentina Leasing is led by a team of financial and commercial specialists with backgrounds spanning structured finance, asset management, credit risk, and SME advisory. Each member brings sector-specific knowledge that allows us to assess leasing applications with genuine commercial understanding rather than automated scoring alone. We believe that long-term client relationships are built on expertise, honesty, and consistent follow-through. Our team is accessible, accountable, and committed to finding workable solutions for every qualifying client.

Marco Pellegrini

Chief Executive Officer

Marco has spent over two decades structuring asset finance and leasing transactions for SMEs and mid-market corporates across Italy and Western Europe. He founded SOFI with a mandate to bring institutional-grade leasing capability to businesses traditionally underserved by bank lending. His approach combines rigorous credit discipline with a genuine focus on client viability.

Isabelle Fontaine

Head of Credit & Risk

Isabelle oversees SOFI's credit assessment process, ensuring that every application is evaluated against both financial data and operational context. With a background in structured lending and corporate credit analysis, she has built an internal framework that balances responsible risk management with the flexibility SMEs require. She is directly involved in all mid-to-large ticket decisions.

Davide Conti

Director of Commercial Vehicles & Fleet

Davide specialises in commercial vehicle and fleet leasing, working directly with logistics operators, construction firms, and trade businesses to design agreements that match their operational demands. He has structured fleet leasing programmes for companies ranging from sole traders with a single vehicle to regional distributors managing over 200 units.

Annika Bergström

Head of Industrial & Machinery Finance

Annika brings deep expertise in financing heavy plant, production equipment, and manufacturing assets across the manufacturing and agri-industrial sectors. She works closely with equipment vendors and buyers to structure transactions that reflect both the asset's useful life and the client's production forecasts. Her technical understanding of machinery residual values is a key strength for SOFI.

Lorenzo Vacchi

Client Relations Manager

Lorenzo serves as the primary point of contact for existing SOFI clients, managing relationship continuity from initial contract signing through to end-of-term decisions. His background in SME advisory means he understands the pressures business owners face and communicates proactively when circumstances change. He ensures that every client feels supported throughout the full term of their agreement.
